Founded in 1976 as Purity Co-operative Credit Union Limited, this institution rebranded in 1988 to become United Enterprise Co-operative Credit Union Limited (UECCU), reflecting its expanded vision and growing membership.

📍 Based at Upper Collymore Rock, St. Michael, UECCU today serves employees from over 14 companies, many of which are part of the Goddard Enterprises Limited group, forming the core of its membership.

Founded on January 29, 1986, the UWI (Cave Hill) Credit Union Ltd. proudly serves the members of the University of the West Indies community, including staff, students, and their families.

With assets now exceeding BDS $93 million, this credit union is firmly ranked among Barbados’ Top 10 credit unions, reflecting its deep commitment to supporting members’ financial well-being and growth.

Originally founded 42 years ago as the Barbados Media Credit Union, this institution evolved to become Reliance Co-operative Credit Union, reflecting its commitment to growth and adaptability.

Based in Fontabelle, St. Michael, just outside Bridgetown, Reliance today manages assets totalling $11.5 million, proudly serving its members and contributing to Barbados’ vibrant credit union movement.

The League delegation proudly attended the 2025 Caribbean Confederation of Credit Unions (CCCU) Annual Convention held in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic from June 20–25, 2025.

Among them was Hally Haynes, 1st Vice President of the Barbados Co-operative & Credit Union League, and notably, the current President of the CCCU, leading the regional credit union movement with distinction.
