Last week Friday, Export Barbados coordinated an exciting product showcase with UK distributor Peter Martin of Caribbean Store, creating a valuable opportunity for local manufacturers to present and sample their products.
Participants also received expert product development advice to help refine their offerings for international markets and strengthen their export readiness.

Big Win for Barbados!

The Barbados Trust Fund Limited (BTFL) is proud to celebrate our client, Joshua Forte, Founder of Red Diamond Compost Inc., who has won the People’s Choice Award at the Youth Ecopreneur Awards currently taking place in Paris, France!

Joshua stood out as 1 of only 8 finalists selected from over 1,500 applications across 120 countries under the Youth Ecopreneur Program (YECO), a joint initiative of the International Trade Centre (ITC) and the G20 Global Land Initiative (UNCCD).

He is proudly representing Barbados and the wider Caribbean at ChangeNOW 2026, one of the world’s leading sustainability summits, bringing together over 40,000 participants from 140+ countries.

This achievement highlights the power of Caribbean innovation, sustainability, and entrepreneurship on the global stage.
