So, the official 2026 Rock-Bank Merino and Poll Merino Stud RAM SALE team were LOTTED in their Auction Order on Wednesday. It’s a very tidy lineup we feel.

This particular RB Stud Poll Merino 🐑 Superfine Ram with a tremendous sirey outlook will be offered in LOT 39.

Principal John’s Commentary - “A very rich woolled ram with great confirmation & a big, pure, soft head”.

Interestingly, this RAM is huge for his-:

☑️ GROWTH, being 8.32 for YWT (Yearling Weight) ASBV

✔️EYE MUSCLE DEPTH, being +1.09 for YEMD ASBV

☑️ For his Finer Woolled Breed Type, he’s TOP 20% for LMY (Lean Meat Yield)

Plus, he’s a PP for Poll Status.

Lamb Marking ‘26 wrapped up here @ ‘Rock-Bank’ today. We’re very satisfied merino & poll merino breeder’s & woolgrower’s over here - sitting on our consistent, 5-year average final result.

Also, the 🔝 quality of the 2026 Drop LAMBS is exciting.

Per the featured photograph - This particular mob were our No.1 Fine Wool Poll Merino Stud Breeding Ewes. They’re cheekily known as “The Heavyweights” because of their Wool Production. There’s going to be some big some big fleeces hitting the wool classing table, when these EWES 🐑 are shorn in late October.

On behalf of ‘Rock-Bank’, we would like to say a big thank you, to the committee, organisers & all involved in the 2026 Victorian State Merino Field Day (Marnoo) yesterday - on such a highly successful day & a great industry event.

We appreciated the opportunity to publicly reveal & showcase our RB “Hollywood”. We’ve been documenting & sharing this special July 2025 Drop Stud Poll Merino Ram’s life story & progress, since he was merely 5 hours old - when he was selected by Principal John, for his-: genotype, phenotype & visual markers.
