✨ Introducing TC Together ✨

A new community initiative for Thornton-Cleveleys bringing residents, local groups, schools and businesses together to make our town even more welcoming, colourful and connected.

Whether it’s helping improve community spaces, supporting local events, planting flowers, sharing skills, volunteering for a few hours or simply meeting new people — TC Together is for everyone.

💙 Small acts can make a big difference.

Over the coming weeks we’ll be sharing ideas, community projects and opportunities to get involved. We’d love this to be shaped by the people who live here.

What an incredible Gala week we have had!

The Thornton-Cleveleys Gala Committee would like to extend a huge thank you to everyone who helped make Gala 2026 such a fantastic success.

Thank you to our volunteers, sponsors, entertainers, stallholders, parade participants, local organisations, emergency services, and everyone who worked behind the scenes to bring the event together.

Most importantly, thank you to the wonderful people of Thornton-Cleveleys and all our visitors who came along to support the Gala. Whether you attended our band concert, watched the parade, attended the crowning ceremony, enjoyed the funfair, took part in Sports Day, donated to our collections, or simply came along to enjoy the atmosphere, you helped make this year's event truly special.

Events like ours can only continue with the support of our community, and we are incredibly grateful for every donation, every volunteer hour, and every person who attended.

We hope you enjoyed the week as much as we did and have created some wonderful memories with family and friends.

Thank you for keeping this long-standing community tradition alive. We can't wait to do it all again next year!

Gala Day Timetable
Hoisting of the Gala Flag

11am - Flower laying and Service of Remembrance at the Cenotaph

11:15am - Judging of parade entries on King Georges Playing Fields

12pm - Parade will set off from King Georges Playing Fields

12pm - The Funfair and Stalls will open on King Georges Playing Fields

1pm/1:30pm - The parade will return to King Georges Playing Fields

1pm-2:15pm - Entertainment on King Georges Playing Fields

2:15pm - Our trophies will be presented to the winners of our Gala Parade on King Georges Playing Fields in the main arena

2:30pm- Our Crowning Ceremony will start on King Georges Playing Fields

4/5pm - Stalls & entertainment will end on the Gala Field

12pm - The Gala procession will depart from the Victoria Road East entrance of King Georges Playing Fields

12:15pm Approx. -Thornton Village

12:30pm Approx. - Spar on Lawsons Road

12:45pm Approx. - Trunnah Road/ Fleetwood Road North Junction

1pm Approx. - Gardeners Arms on Fleetwood Road North

1:15pm Approx. - The procession will return to King Georges Playing Fields via the entrance next to Seniors Fish and chips

All times are approximate, so please arrive to watch the procession in good time or if you need to leave the area please set off in advance and drive away from the parade route when leaving.
