NEW PROJECT ~ Ever wondered what effect a beige and brown pool tile would have on your water colour? Then check out our recently completed project in Coogee. This project is full soft curves and earthy tones and textures. From the crazy pave surround to the complimenting baton coping and extending into the pool with Gemma Topaz mosaics from , this project exudes a luxurious warmth. The resulting water colour is a natural soft turquoise.

For those that have recently joined, hi 👋, we're Stone Lotus Landscapes and to those who've been following on for a while, thanks for staying.
We're a boutique award winning landscape design and construction firm based in Sydney's eastern suburbs.
With a focus on residential landscaping we love creating special outdoor spaces our clients love to live and play in, for many years to come. We are in the business of building our clients A Beautiful Life Outside.

Trailing Rosemary happy hanging poolside at Coogee. It loves to hang and cascade over retaining walls and hanging planters. Used here to soften the hardscapes and to increase greenery in a relatively small garden. Trailing Rosemary (Rosmarinus officinalis prostratus) is a hardy, full sun rosemary variety that likes sandy soils with good drainage. Its a great ground cover. We use it alot in our projects as it suits coastal, tropical and mediterranean style gardens. We love it for its high visual impact, overall hardiness, aroma and edibility. Thats right, a hardworking herb that improves your cooking and your garden.

NEW PROJECT - Potts Point Penthouse Rooftop Garden ~

20 floors up this green, somewhat unexpected sancturary exists amongst a sea of concrete and steel. The softness of overflowing garden beds, full of layers and intriquing textures is sharply juxtaposed by a backdrop of city skyscrapers. Raised steel garden beds wrap around the expanisive rooftop area to create depth for planting and provide a crisp delineation between nature and the hardscaped functional areas. An ecclectic mix of hardy, drought- tolerant plant varieties thrive in the exposed full sun location and beautifully frame the iconic Harbour Bridge and Opera House.

The curves continue with a round semi sunken stainless steel spa complete with a wrap around timber pathway embedded in foliage. Lined by a row of mature olive trees you could be forgiven for thinking that you were meandering through a rural property instead of being perched upon a city rooftop.

Zoysia woven through sandstone stepping stones seeks to further blend the hard and soft. Carefully curated pots and planters, a generous built-in barbeque area and plenty of hardscaped space for entertaining and taking in the views, completes this landmark project.
