And just like that it’s been a week since we were heading to Perisher Ski Resort with our little one and mother in law at 3am departure (for those in the UK - yes we have a few snow resorts in Australia only 5.5 hours down the road). 🚗

It’s so important family time and work, life, balance within reason. 💻

With season passes (including the little one) in our hands, and the snow season now in peak, looking forward to some more family and couple trips down to the snow. ❄️

I can confirm that the cost of Accomodation in the most local town half hour away at Jindabyne has definitely gone up 500% since we used to head down there. Got me thinking are a lot of Aussies now travelling within Australia rather than going abroad as the car park gets full before 9am!

Is it worth the next investment property on Lake Jindabyne?

Any other snow lovers out there or just there for the Apres? 🥂

With a husband that was a snowboard instructor in a past life our daughter has no choice but snowboard and experience the Adrenalin that is part of it.

Australia and New Zealand co-hosting the biggest FIFA Women's World Cup in history.

FIFA women’s first match in Sydney - Australia v’s Ireland. 🇦🇺 ⚽️

It's the first time the tournament's ever been held in the Southern Hemisphere and we managed (thanks to a organised friend) getting tickets. 🥅

What an amazing atmosphere, reminded me of the Olympics back in 2000, and great to see how many people on both sides supporting women’s sport.

Even better that Australia won the first match 1-0. Although that final couple of minutes I thought Ireland would score. Super close and great game with our main striker out!

I was so glad to be part of making history. ⚽️ 👩‍🦰

Interest rates are set to continue to rise post the RBA move to increase the cash rate, however counterparts like the UK are reducing.

These are the key points from the Macquarie Bank chief economist:

- While inflation will take time to reduce to historic averages in Australia, the headline rate is projected to begin falling in 2023.

- Falling inflation would in turn take pressure off the RBA to keep hiking interest rates – meaning the number and pace of rate rises is set to slow.

- While property prices are expected to fall further this year, the market is expected to stabilise towards the second half of 2023.
