Another amazing Saints Netball Presentation Day done and dusted – always such a great way to wrap up the season and celebrate all the hard work, team spirit, and community that makes this club so special.

Proud to be part of the Saints Executive Committee, and even prouder to see how much this club has meant to both my girls over the years. It’s more than just netball – it’s friendships, confidence, and memories that’ll last a lifetime.

(And yes, I might be your go-to property finance broker by day, but weekends are for bibs, whistles, and cheering from the sidelines 😉)

On Tuesday, I had the privilege of being invited to attend the MFAA Women in Finance Broking event — and what a great morning it was!!

The spotlight was firmly on the evolving landscape of financial decision-making, with more women taking charge of their financial futures, both personally and professionally. Also great to see an exciting rise in female brokers shaping the industry with passion and purpose.

We heard empowering speeches from several outstanding women leaders in the finance and broking space, reminding us all of the importance of representation, support, and creating space for women to lead in finance.

It's clear that the future of finance is diverse, driven, and female-forward.

Big news for first home buyers! 🏡

From 1 October 2025, the Australian Government is making it easier to get into your first home:

✅ Unlimited places – no more caps on the number of guarantees available.
✅ No income limits – higher-earning buyers can now access the Scheme.
✅ Higher property price caps – keeping pace with today’s market.
✅ Simpler regional access – the Regional First Home Buyer Guarantee will be rolled into the First Home Guarantee.

This means you could buy your first home with as little as a 5% deposit – and skip paying Lenders Mortgage Insurance.

The changes are designed to help more Aussies step onto the property ladder, sooner.
