Federal Government's second stimulus package:
Ø Eligible not-for-profits and small businesses will receive a tax-free, cash payment of between $20,000 and $100,000
Ø The Commonwealth is offering to guarantee unsecured loans of up to $250,000
Ø The Government will allow people to access up to $10,000 from their superannuation this financial year and in 2020-21.
Ø The Job-Seeker payment will be available to sole traders and causal workers, provided they meet income tests. The Government will waive asset tests and waiting periods to access the Job seeker Payment.

Keeping people in work and businesses open is at the heart of the Federal Government's second economic stimulus package as it seeks to salvage Australia's economy in the face of the coronavirus pandemic.

Huge win for small businesses with the government introducing a $2 billion Australian Business Securitisation Fund.

This will provide significant additional funding to smaller banks and non-bank lenders to on-lend to small businesses on more competitive terms.
And with the ability to borrow to fund their growth, small business has the opportunity to make an even larger contribution to Australia’s future economic growth and prosperity!

Federal Treasurer Josh Frydenberg has unveiled a $2 billion fund designed to increase the flow of capital to Australian SMEs and improve competition in the lending market.
