Independent Finance Brokers Forum (IFBF) is a Meetup group for Mortgage & Finance Brokers in Sydney. We are a non-profit organisation run by volunteers who are Industry Professionals and meet Monthly to provide support, compliance, eduction, product and networking opportunities to professionals who are are either Brokers or who wish to network with brokers. Around 100 of our Members, Sponsors, BDMs meet monthly on the last Friday of every Month at Rosehill Bowling Club Function Room.

Poor old Commonwealth Bank. I've now worked out how they continue to make such massive profits. Logging onto my 93 year old mother-in-law's account today, I saw a $0.07 debit, processed on March 1st, being an adjustment to the minute interest they paid on her savings for the 6 months to 31 Dec 2023. How desperate must a company be to take back 7 cents? How much would it have cost to process that entry? Mindless drones.

Alvin’s funeral will be held on Tuesday, May 30th at the NorthernSuburbs Crematorium on Delhi Road, North Ryde
Starting at 2:15 pm in the North Chapel.

He was a wonderful friend and someone who will be greatly missed.

“It is with our sincere regret to advise the passing of our great friend and IFBF stalwart, Alvin Lee.

Alvin had been an active member of the Steering Committee for many years acting as the group’s accountant and only passed the reigns early this year.

His wife Lorraine said that Alvin suffered a serious brain bleed last Thursday evening and passed away on Saturday surrounded by family.

Details of Alvin’s funeral will be shared once details are known”.
