7:37am… who’s ready to hit it? 😅

Not these two. Or me - clearly!

This is one of my favourite parts of working for myself —
we don’t rush mornings in this house (most days!).
No alarms anymore.
No dragging sleepy little humans out of bed to get them to daycare so that I can get into the city by 8.30am.

Slow starts with lots of cuddles. I'd rather burn the midnight oil when I need to than have them start their day without their morning dose of 🤍.

Is it really that simple to buy property through your SMSF?

The honest answer, yes and no.

The “yes” comes down to the loan assessment.
If your super fund has a 20% deposit + stamp duty + associated costs and your historical super contributions are sufficient, a loan for up to 80% of a property purchase can be pretty simple.

But there's also a big "no".

SMSF property isn’t just about getting approved. It’s about whether the product is right for you, quality advice, and getting everything set up correctly from a legal and compliance perspective.

If you know, you know 😅

Endless energy. "Just one more go” x 1000 before they get the serious 'get out now' voice (usually just laugh at me and run away even then)!

This is me every Wednesday afternoon for swimming lessons - yes that's the strange background noise when you call. At least they're finally old enough that I don't have to get in the pool! Solo mumming with two having lessons when you have to get in the pool with the little one and then survive the whole getting them changed and showered afterward without meltdowns is a full on strategic operation! I genuinely have no idea how my mum kept 7 of us alive because I'm pretty sure there was a time we all had swimming lessons.

Annnyway, two is definitely my limit and to all the working mama’s in the thick of it… I see you.

It’s chaos, it's relentless, it's exhauuusting… but it’s also the best! 🤍
