Meet Ben, who’s been doing work experience with the Knight Financial Advice team!

Ben is studying Commerce at ECU and has his sights set on a career in financial planning or wealth management. He’s spent the last four years building his own investment portfolio, and time with our advisers has given him a close look at how that knowledge can help clients grow their wealth.

“I want to take what I’ve learnt to build wealth for others. Eventually I’d love to build my own financial advisory firm.”

When he’s away from the books, you’ll find Ben on the golf course or the hockey field.

Yesterday, we paused to check in.

R U OK? Day is a reminder that a simple conversation can make a real difference - so yesterday the Knight team made space for exactly that, with coffee catch ups, cupcakes and a special visit from Paws the Pressure therapy dogs!

It’s not just one day a year for us - it’s a reminder to keep checking in, connecting and making time for each other.

We are proud to support 12-year-old WA representative player Abi, who has achieved the incredible milestone of being selected for both the Hockey WA U14 State Team competing in Canberra and the School Sport WA U12 State Team heading to Newcastle this October.

Representing Western Australia on the national stage in these completely self-funded tournaments takes serious commitment, focus, and drive.

Last week Dann Sokol delivered his final report as Honorary Treasurer of the Perth Flying Squadron Yacht Club, wrapping up 3 years in the role. It's a period that's seen the club take on some major projects, all guided by Dann's sound judgement and financial know-how.

Taking the reins from here is our own James Glover, great news for the club, and a great opportunity for James.

Roles like this are done simply because our people want to put their skills to good use in the communities around them. That kind of commitment doesn't go unnoticed.
