This morning we held our first Teca Small Business Breakfast Seminar ☀️

It was great to bring together a room full of local business owners for a morning of conversation, connection and some really valuable insights.

Our speakers covered three very different but equally important areas affecting business owners:

📊 Terry Wallace – Teca Accounting & Finance
Federal Budget & tax changes

💡 Kiru Thangadurai – Astron Consulting
Business leadership

💙 Mark O’Hare – Positive Place
Workplace wellbeing

A fantastic morning, a full room and plenty of great conversations. We’re already looking forward to the next one!

And a big thanks to The Odin Tavern for having us and helping make the morning run so smoothly! ☕️

We’re incredibly proud to share that Terry Wallace has been named a Top 10 Finalist in the Australian Accounting Awards 2026 for 🏆 Property Specialist Accountant of the Year!

This award recognises accountants who deliver exceptional outcomes for property investors through strategic advice, structuring, compliance, and long-term wealth creation.

Terry is genuinely passionate about helping clients build financial security through property, and this national recognition is a huge achievement for both him and the Teca Accounting team.

Congratulations Terry, very well deserved 👏

🎉 5 Years of Kellie Magic! 🎉

Last month we raised a glass to the one and only Kellie Elliott, who is celebrating 5 incredible years at Teca Accounting!

Kellie is our office all-rounder, our go-to for just about everything, and the unofficial boss of keeping things moving (and people in line). Whether she's wrangling spreadsheets or sending reminder emails with just the right level of sass, she's always on the go, always dependable, and somehow still finds time to be a full-time mum blogger and chaos coordinator at home too.

If you’ve ever emailed us, called us, or walked through the front door, chances are Kellie had something to do with making sure everything ran smoothly, with reliability, trustworthiness, and a whole lot of good humour along the way.

We honestly don’t know how we’d function without her. (And we’re too scared to find out. 😅)
