📣 Well… it’s been a minute!

Apparently, when you’re busy doing everyone else’s bookkeeping, payroll, BAS and keeping Xero under control… your own social media tends to get pushed to the bottom of the list. 😂

But yes — My Bookkeeper Perth is still here, still growing, and still keeping Perth businesses organised behind the scenes.

We’ve actually been very busy helping our clients with everything from weekly payroll and bookkeeping to BAS, super, accounts payable, debtors and the occasional “Justine… I think my Xero is a bit of a mess” emergency. 😬

And with 20+ years of bookkeeping experience, I can safely say one thing hasn’t changed:

👉 Receipts still disappear.
👉 Bank reconciliations still don’t do themselves.
👉 And “I’ll sort the bookkeeping out later” is still a dangerous sentence. 😂

Over the past couple of months we’ve welcomed some fantastic new clients, helped businesses transition to Xero, tackled payroll, BAS, cash flow, and everything in between.

One thing hasn’t changed though…

Today is International Women’s Day — a day to recognise the amazing women making a difference in every industry. 🧡💙🧡💙

One thing I’ve learned after years of bookkeeping for small businesses…

Most business owners don’t ignore their numbers because they don’t care.

They ignore them because they feel overwhelming.

Receipts everywhere. Bank feeds not matching. A BAS deadline creeping closer.

So the plan becomes…“I’ll deal with it next week.”

Then next week turns into next month.

And before you know it, the numbers feel bigger and scarier than they actually are.

Here’s the thing though — once everything is sorted and up to date, the relief is huge.

Clarity replaces stress. And suddenly the business feels manageable again.

If your bookkeeping has been sitting on the “I’ll get to it soon” list, you’re definitely not the only one.

Can I be honest with you?
