RBA CASH RATE INCREASE | WHAT DOES IT MEAN FOR YOU?
The Reserve Bank of Australia has today increased the cash rate by 0.25 percentage points to 4.60%.
For borrowers, that may mean higher repayments if lenders pass the increase on to variable home loan rates. It can also affect borrowing capacity for people planning to buy, refinance or invest.
If you have a home loan, now is a good time to check:
👉️what interest rate you’re currently paying
👉️how a rate increase could affect your repayments
👉️whether your loan is still competitive
👉️whether your current structure still suits your circumstances
👉️if refinancing or restructuring could be worth exploring
At Dream Freedom Financial, we can review your current loan, compare options across lenders and help you understand what the latest rate movement means for your individual situation.
A changing rate environment doesn’t necessarily mean you need to make a change, but it does make it worthwhile knowing where you stand.
