Rodeo kicks off the weekend on Friday night then following by an action packed weekend, Saturday concert with headlines Lee Kernaghan & James Johnston followed by seven Australian artists on the main stage. Across the weekend, camping, National BBQ competition, historic car racing, drag racing, line dancing, you name it, it will be there. Jump in early and get your early bird discounts. The Bend swaps racing for rodeo as bull riding comes to Tailem Bend

The Bend Classic will introduce a full rough stock rodeo to open the October long weekend festival from 2 to 4 October 2026, featuring bull riding, saddle bronc, ba****ck and barrel racing with nearly $40,000 in prize money across rodeo and barbecue competitions. The event at Shell V-Power Motorsport Park in Tailem Bend will run rodeo action Friday night under lights followed by country music headliners Lee Kernaghan and James Johnston on Saturday, alongside historic racing, vintage drags and camping from Thursday 1 to Monday 5 October.

The Mount Gambier Rodeo is back for 2026, bringing another massive night of entertainment to Blue Lake Sports Park. Gates open at 4.00 pm, giving spectators plenty of time to settle in before all the thrills and spills of rodeo action buck off at 6.00 pm
