Like every coin has two sides—a head and a tail—every property transaction has two parties: a buyer and a seller. Behind every sale is a unique story, and this is one that truly reinforces the value of patience, planning, and financial discipline.
I recently had the privilege of helping a young couple purchase their very first home in Strathfield. Their journey began almost two years ago when their parents, who are valued clients of Smarti Lending Solutions, referred them to me shortly after they graduated from university and commenced their careers as biomedical engineers.
Their goal was refreshingly simple: *"Mihirr, help us create a plan to budget and save for our first home."* Together, we developed a strategy, and they remained committed to it every step of the way.
They were renting a beautiful two-bedroom, two-bathroom apartment with a rear harbour view. As their rent steadily increased to $900 per week, they decided it was time to move on. Coincidentally, the owners listed the very same apartment for auction. Although our assessment indicated a value of around $800,000, the vendor wasn't prepared to negotiate.
Then came the turning point. The auction didn't achieve the desired result, and after determined negotiations, my clients secured the same apartment for **$650,000**.
Success in property isn't always about timing the market—it's about preparing yourself for the opportunity. “Financial discipline, consistent budgeting, and patience are the foundations of long-term wealth creation. Your future is built by the decisions you make today.”
