Isn’t this something that we want for the 2213-2214 area??? A community bank that is actually owned by the community, backed by Bendigo, yet a significant percentage of profits pour back into the community!!

2018 was a big one for our community and we intend on making 2019 even bigger!

Who is still interested in getting this to happen in the 2213 Panania-East Hills-Picnic Pt and 2214 Milperra area? I am in discussion again with Bendigo for possibilities in 2019. Do you believe our community still needs a bank branch? It can happen with the support of Bendigo Bank if the community pulls together.

Hi there friends... Sorry it's been a while. I'm still on the trail but have had slightly sad news recently that Michael Wood, the NSW Community Engagement person for Bendigo Bank, is finishing up with the bank after 13 years in the role... Michael has been so helpful and I have very much appreciated his support to this point. We wish him well for his future :) ... We are at the stage of forming a Steering Committee so once I know who will be guiding us further I'll put the call out. In the meantime please have a think about whether you'd be available for such a committee. Just enthusiasm and passion for our local area is required. Cheers for now. Will keep you posted.
