Australian National Medieval League We aim to provide a structure for registration of fighters and marshals, as well as Public Liability insurance for IMCF/HMB combat in Australia

We aim to provide the structure to register and provide Public Liability insurance for fighters and marshals to enable the running of HMB/IMCF tournaments in Australia. Our intention is to allow the use of our structures for anyone in Australia to run local tournaments which will feed into the Australasian regional rankings. These rankings will be used to determine the best fighters of the year, who will be sponsored to attend a HMB/IMCF event of their choice in Europe or the USA.

This is it folks!
With this development we have a great avenue to pursue tournaments anywhere, anytime throughout Australia.
We will be announcing the first event shortly, which will be around the end of May I believe.
If anyone else wants to get involved as an organiser, please get in touch and we will help you out with the paperwork.

We want to be clear here that this insurance, our fighter registration, and safety management systems are in place to allow any one of you to run your own HMB events in Australia, and for us to run them for you. They have nothing at all to do with the International/BotN team or activities.

Quick quiz for anyone here who is interested:

We are looking at the schedule for the coming year in terms of running tournaments. There are a lot of re-enactment events on through the year but there are also a lot of free weekends.

With this in mind, would you rather see HMB/IMCF tournaments held:
