Today I had the privilege of joining the MARABISDA team for the Piccaninny Open day!

Seeing Piccaninny lauch the first Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Contact Center in North Queensland today to support young people, create culturally safe spaces, build connection and help young ones feel seen, valued and loved is truly inspiring.

I'm incredibly proud to be part of the team and to work alongside these amazing people that are making such a meaningful impact in our community every day.

Another highlight of the day was also seeing two of my talented clients working on a beautiful mural project. Watching their creativity come to life and seeing culture, storytelling and community woven into their artwork was something special. I can't wait to see the finished piece.

Days like today fill my cup and remind me that strong communities are built by passionate people consistently showing up for others.

This National Reconciliation Week, I’m reflecting on what being ALL IN for reconciliation truly means.

For me and Hale Tass, it’s about more than a social post. It’s about consistently showing up, building genuine relationships, and supporting businesses and communities with respect, integrity and accountability.

It’s also a reminder that reconciliation is a shared responsibility for all Australians.

Not something to stand on the sidelines of, but something we can actively commit to every day through conversations, action, learning and genuine support for First Nations Peoples.
