My remote office just got an upgrade! 💻🌿

Meet the newest addition to my travelling office — a stand-up desk! 🙌

Because apparently, working from the caravan wasn’t quite flexible enough… now I can work sitting, standing and enjoying the sunshine all at the same time! 😂

I love that my business lets me work remotely, whether I’m at home or travelling around Australia. And yes, the bookkeeping still gets done — just with a much nicer view! ☀️💻

Working remotely really does have its perks!

☀️🚐 Early start and we’re Sunshine Coast bound!

I’m heading off to the Sunshine Coast for the ABN Conference, and then I’ll be working from the caravan for the next two weeks.

One of the things I love most about running my own business is the flexibility to work from anywhere. 💻🌴

A little change of scenery, a bit of sunshine and my happy place on wheels. 🚐❤️

Of course, the bookkeeping doesn’t stop just because I’m travelling! I’ll still be working with my clients remotely while enjoying a little time away.

Here’s to a couple of weeks of work, learning and a little adventure! ☀️

📋 End of BAS Period Checklist

BAS time doesn’t have to be stressful! 🙌

Before you (or your bookkeeper 😉) get started, here’s a quick checklist to help make sure your books are ready:

☐ Reconcile all bank accounts
☐ Reconcile credit cards & loans
☐ Make sure all sales & purchases are entered
☐ Check GST has been recorded correctly
☐ Review unpaid invoices & bills
☐ Check payroll has been processed and reconciled
☐ Make sure superannuation payments are up to date
☐ Review any unusual or large transactions
☐ Make sure receipts & supporting documents are attached
☐ Run a Profit & Loss and Balance Sheet report

💡 Tip: Don’t leave it until the last minute! Keeping your bookkeeping up to date throughout the quarter (or month) makes BAS time much easier.

Hi everyone 😊

I’m looking to get out and about a little more and connect with other local business owners.

I’d love to hear about any networking events, business groups or local meetups happening around the Penrith or Wollondilly areas.

I’m particularly interested in groups that are welcoming to small businesses and trades, and where the focus is on getting to know other local business owners and building genuine connections.

If you know of any groups or events that you would recommend, I’d love to hear about them in the comments.
Oh and I am not really a morning person, so extra points if it’s not before 8am!
