The vast majority of the residents in these two suburbs are young families who built / bought their first home. Unfortunately many of these young families who who have their home burgled finds it hard to recover from the financial and emotional truma of the burglary not to mention the f

eeling of the invation of privacy. This objective of this page is to raise awareness on the issue of policing needs in Mernda and Doreen as well as to lobby the government to fund a new 24 hour police station for Mernda / Doreen. Besides police station this page will be used to campaign on local political issues.
