Last Friday, we had the pleasure of welcoming Stacey Mitchell from CareSuper to The Adviser Academy.

It was a particularly meaningful session for me, as Stacey was one of my Advice Coaches during my AMP Horizons journey many years ago. Seeing her now share that experience with our next generation of advisers felt like a great full-circle moment.

The session focused on running effective discovery meetings, with roleplays, live feedback and plenty of practical discussion around communication, listening, curiosity and empathy.

The feedback from the team was fantastic, with several people calling it one of our best Academy sessions.

Thank you, Stacey, for sharing your time, experience and passion for adviser development. It’s great to see the impact you had on my journey now being passed on to the next generation.
