Thermomix Consultant Mandi Roark The Thermomix is an amazing kitchen appliance the blends, crushes, grinds, emulsifies, cooks and much more.

It is the world's smallest, smartest kitchen and truly does serve as an extra pair of hands. The Thermomix can only be seen through in-home demonstrations where customers have the opportunity to see a wide range of uses and try food made in the Thermomix. Once a customer purchases a Thermomix they have ongoing support from their consultant to make the most of their investment.

Made lemon curd yesterday, absolutely delicious. Even better as we used lemons off a tree and eggs from our chickens! Only problem was how quickly it was eaten. My 3 year old wanted me to put it in a cup for him to drink!

Tonight I steamed sausages for dinner. Can't believe it worked, but they were absolutely delicious!

This morning we had couscous for breakfast! Made a lovely mixture of milk, honey, dates and spices to pour over the couscous, then let it rest in the Thermoserver for ten minutes. Absolutely divine and a break from cereal :)

Spent the morning in a baking frenzy making snacks for the kids. Made to make zucchini muffins, two batches of fruit bars and cream cheese and apricot buns. Now we all have healthy, preservative free snacks for the next few weeks!

Fantastic special this month! Double Thermoservers with the purchase of a Thermomix and delivery demo. Better yet, one of them is a larger size, 2.5 liter capacity :)

Put custard in the freezer the other day (in ice-cube trays), popped it back into the Thermomix when frozen and made a delicious ice-cream. The best bit was that I had used low-fat milk and only a little sugar. Will now be experimenting with different flavours!

Today I thought that I would be sneaky and try to get my kids to eat vegetables. My son put spinach leaves in the Thermomix to turn the bread green. He thought it was great fun and both kids ate it!

I am madly in love with eggplant cooked in the Varoma. I have now made two versions of Moussaka, one traditional and one vegetarian, and they were both delicious. Would love any other eggplant recipes!

Practising making sorbet for demos this weekend. Tonight's flavour was pineapple, which was yummy! Might have to experiment with making it into a frozen pina colada when the kids aren't around :)

I celebrated my daughter's first birthday this weekend. Making her birthday cake was easy with the aid of my trusty friend. I made a coconut cake and the buttercream frosting in the Thermomix, then it was just a matter of baking, shaping and decorating.
