Medicare Assignment of Benefit (AoB) requirements for bulk billing is changing.

We would like to reassure practices that use of Tyro Health EFTPOS machines to process bulk bill claims via Medicare Easyclaim is compliant with the updated AoB requirements.

We’ve put together a short video and article to explain what’s changing, what it means for your practice, and how Medicare Easyclaim on Tyro Health EFTPOS continues to support providers meet the updated AoB requirements.

From 1 July 2026, updated AoB requirements will apply to Medicare bulk billing. Learn what's changing, what practices need to do, and how Tyro Health Medicare Easyclaim supports the electronic AoB processes.
