The $20,000 instant asset write-off is available until 30 June 2026, however many owners may think it’s not worth the fuss.

Here’s the reality: if you’re already planning to buy tools, vehicles, technology or machinery, timing and finance structure can still make a real difference to your cash flow and after tax cost.

And after 30 June, the threshold drops to $1,000 unless it’s extended again.
