As we reach the end of 2025, we’re reflecting on a devastating reality - 352 lives were lost on NSW roads this year.

In the new year, we’re asking everyone to be more considerate of the road rules and each other. Slow down. Put the phone away. Don’t drive if you’re under the influence of alcohol or drugs.

If we all make safer choices, we can stop families losing loved ones on our roads. Let’s make 2026 the year we turn this around and make sure everyone gets home ❤️

Hitting the road this holiday season? Remember to take regular breaks. Fatigue is a factor in nearly 30% of all crash-related fatalities and severe injuries on Australian roads.
Plan your trip:

🚙 Take regular breaks
🚐 If required stop and take a power nap

You may not believe this, but we edited the image you're looking at 🤯

That's right, we don't signpost speed limits for L and P-platers on our roads 🛣️

As a provisional driver, it's your responsibility to know and stick to the speed limit for your licence type 🚗

Remember this is your maximum limit, even when there is a higher speed limit signposted 🪧
