🏫💰 School’s out, but the real lessons are just starting…

Swapped my Friday morning off for a room full of Year 12s at St. Mary & St. Mina Coptic Orthodox College to talk about the day mum and dad officially retire from the Bank of Mum & Dad 😂🏦 Wish I had this when I was in school!

We covered the real stuff:
💳 Credit cards, car loans & personal loans — and how “minimum repayment” is not a personality trait
📈 Interest — yes, the bank does want their cut, shocking I know
🏠 How lending actually works, property values, rental income & how the banks assess your mortgage
📋 What you actually need to provide (spoiler: not just vibes)
✅ LMI waivers & which professions get the golden ticket

Confession time — I took out my first credit card at 18 thinking it was free money. Spoiler alert: it is not free money. It is very much the opposite of free money 🙃

Say hello to Power Loans’ newest customers and beautiful family – The Mikhail’s 🤩🏡

What started as a simple “what if?”… turned into reality.

Kamal and Dena reached out wanting to know if they were in a position to sell their current property and secure their family dream home.
