usiness partner' than an external contractor as I become an integral member of their team, making sure I manage any and all tasks that would otherwise weigh on them, allowing them to focus on doing what they do best! The highlight of my career would have to be supporting Founder and CEO of Virgin Blue, Brett Godfrey and the team of executives for 10 years. We took our little 1 aeroplane airline and grew it into Virgin Australia - a global leader in the aviation industry. I spent 12 years as Brett's EA and did everything from getting his coffee, to giving my opinion on concepts, working on his speeches and presentations, organising his travel (and his family and friends travel) ... everything to do with his working life, as well as home, financial and family life. An added bonus of this role was meeting and working closely with a plethora of VIP’s and leaders – including Sir Richard Branson, with whom I worked with often. I also have experience in event/conference organising, ranging from small corporate meetings to events with over 1000 guests. Executive working retreats, family getaways to out of the way places, themed parties, staff bonding experiences ... you name it – I can arrange it and can guarantee something out of the ordinary and memory making. Along the way I have also worked in the advertising, film production, marketing, sponsorship, hospitality and sports industries. I’d also like to say that I'm pretty proud of the business I've created and the clients I support!

MELBOURNE - looking for someone who we can rely on for 6-10hrs / week (with opportunity to grow).
Must have their own courier van (Hi-ace or similar)
Be handy (often needing to put together furniture (think Ikea etc).
Be fit - assist with bumping in and out of events - furniture, event props, styling etc.
Be creative - assist with styling if possible
Be flexible - may need to drive to a number of places in a day to collect orders, bump in and bump out of buildings.
Big ask - but I know this group is up for it!

My Client is the professional industry body for Medical Software.

We are seeking an Association Coordinator responsible for supporting operations and initiatives that deliver efficiency and value to Association members.

About You
You have proven experience (3 years) in an administrative or coordination role, preferably within a non-profit or association setting.
You possess well-developed time management skills to achieve proficiency and effectiveness in managing your workload and priorities, and meeting deadlines.
You're reliable, punctual, have a solid work ethic and have a genuine desire to learn and contribute to your new team.
You’re supremely organised and capable of supporting an Executive leader in their role.
You have proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and a basic understanding of database management and website content management systems.
You have a demonstrated interpersonal and relationship skills with the ability to work independently and as part of a team, communicate effectively at all levels, contribute to a positive work environment and ensure a strong focus on the provision of quality customer service.

What's in it for you?
Flexibility via a part-time work from home role - hours range from 2 - 6hrs per day - depending on what is happening. There is definitely an opportunity to take on more hours if you have the capacity to do so.
Contracted hourly rate of $50 - 60 per hour.
Contract duration may be negotiated based on qualifications and experience, and for the right candidate - however prefer a long term/permanent engagement.

Well ... that's a wrap for 2022 - and what a year!
- continued working with 5 incredible and loyal clients in Australia and New Zealand
- added 4 exciting and awesome new clients
- worked on 4 MAJOR events on the Gold Coast and Brisbane as well as 100's of smaller events all over Australia
- worked remotely from the Gold Coast, Nelsons Bay, Brisbane, Sydney, Makepeace Island, hospitals, cafe's, beaches and cars.
- had an article written about me in the Australian Financial Review.. and loved every single second of it!

And next for 2023? Well you'll have to stay tuned ... won't you!
