There will never be a quarry in Reedy Creek, and it’s thanks to the people power of our community.

We stood strong in our fight against Boral - and we won.

Today we celebrated everyone who played a role in this battle. Every submission, every rally, every voice against it.

I promised you there will be no quarry, and the Crisafulli Government took action and ended Labor’s decade of uncertainty.

We removed Labor’s KRA over the Reedy Creek site, which means there will never be a quarry in our backyard.

This is a win for our community across multiple generations, and I thank you for standing with me in this fight.

No quarry, no way.

We fought hard and we did it. We stopped the Reedy Creek quarry.

The Crisafulli Government has delivered on our promise - we said we would stop the quarry, and we did.

I couldn’t be prouder of our community who stood alongside us in this battle. Thank you.
