This year we were proud to officially open the Benny Lucas Cricket Shed, named in honour of Benny Lucas, beloved brother of Matt Lucas ❤️

It’s a place for mates, memories, and beers. Benny’s name will now be part of every game played here.

Hanging proudly inside is a sign reading “Sensational”, in honour of Big Mick, keeping his spirit and legacy a part of every match day.

A fitting tribute, and a place that will be well used and well loved.

Chad Champs Weekend Recap 🍻

What a weekend! Three games of cricket, countless laughs, elite levels of mateship, and a heroic amount of beers consumed.

While the scoreboard didn’t exactly favour us, it’s safe to say we absolutely dominated the beer drinking division — undefeated, untouchable, reigning champs.

Huge thanks to our Captain for pulling the whole weekend together.
Shout-out to Sharon for feeding the masses — no one ever plays well hungry and she made sure that wasn’t an issue.
Big thanks to Ally for organising the kit and keeping us looking the part.

Done and dusted, great weekend, thank you to all who travelled.

Well 2024 Ashes done and dusted.
Thank you Sharon for feeding us all and keeping us organised.
Friday night Bush Doof was a clanger.
Old Harmonica was a hit.
Well played Band
Washed out the first day after the Champs had them on the ropes after some fine captaincy from Andy and great bowling by everyone

Day 2 the big one .........
YA HOO BUCKER ROO Chad's Champs rolled the mighty Big Mick's Finns 11.
261 to 215 .
The old timers Chad and Micky Driscoll held out to have the Champs with two wickets intact after 35 overs.
Big Batting from Mat Shaw with some handy knocks from Kronkie, Zac , Sherif , infact everyone contributed to a great win.
Well played Finns 11 a great game.
Day 3 20 20 Chad's 149 Def Barry's 11 142.
Would have been nice to have the score sheet put in , would have seen the Champs challenge the top 20.
