It’s July, you know what that means… it’s time for our annual Christmas in July event!!

🎄 Saturday, July 26th • 5PM • Upper Room (2 Akuna Street, City) 🎄

We are less than 2 weeks away from our next Genlife event! 🎄🌲🎅

There will be Christmas themed food, drinks and festivities, so wear your favourite Christmas outfit!

There will be a secret Santa game - if you want to participate, bring a gift that is $10 or under!

❗️Our annual ice skating + hot chocolate event is on again this Saturday! ⛸️☕️

📅 Saturday 24 May
⏰ 1PM (Instead of night time, this time we are doing it during the day!)
📍Philip Ice Rink

The skate session goes from 1-2:30PM, after which we will head to San Churros Woden for hot chocolate ☕️😋

🚗As always, let us know in DMs if you need a lift there and back! 🚗

Our next GENLIFE event is happening soon - we’re going on a hike (and picnic afterwards!) 🥾🧺 We’d love for you to join us. Feel free to join us for just the hike, just picnic, or both! Here are the important deets 👀

When: Monday 21 April (Easter Monday)
Where: Mount Ainslie ⛰️

HIKE 🥾
10:30 am- meet at the car park on Treloar Crescent at the back (north-east) of the Australian War Memorial. We will be starting sharp, but those that come late can catch up as it is a straightforward path.

PICNIC 🧺
12:00pm at the Mount Ainslie peak

We will be having a picnic lunch at the top of Mount Ainslie (at the peak). Note: Cars can be parked at the bottom (for hikers) or the top (picnic-ers) of Mount Ainslie.

Bring a dish/snack to share and a picnic blanket if you have one!

🎨 GENLIFE Crafternoon is on this Saturday! 🎨

Join us for a fun afternoon of crafting and socialising. Whether it is painting 🎨, knitting or crocheting 🧶, drawing ✏️, or any other kind of creative pursuit, bring your craft project along to spend some quality time with a welcoming community!

Don’t have a project to bring? No worries! There will be craft kits available (such as paint by numbers).

Saturday 26th October • 2PM • UPPERROOM (2 Akuna Street)

This event as usual is ✨FREE✨ and ALL WELCOME! Bring your friends! You know the drill, if you need help getting there, DM us and we can organise a lift for you.

The next GENLIFE event is happening on 21 September (Saturday). There’s been a slight deviation from the advertised activity due to logistical difficulties. The event will be Jungle Golf - glow in the dark golf! ⛳️ what’s better than golf? Golf in the dark with neon lights! 🕺🏼

🍴 The plan is to go out for dinner after. Location for dinner will be decided on the night 🍴

The cost is $17 per person, for an 18 hole course. If money is an issue let us know and you can be sponsored. If you’d like to help sponsor someone’s ticket also let us know!

🏃🏻‍♀️🏊🏼🏅Do you feel like the Olympics is over too soon?

Don’t despair! This Saturday (17 August) join us for GENLIFE Switch Olympics! Dress up in your favourite country colours and compete in an array of simulated sports to be crowned the world champion!

Choose from:
🏐 Volleyball, 🏸 Badminton, ⛳️ Golf, 🗡️ Sword fighting, 🎳 Bowling, 🏎️ Mario Kart and even 🕺🏼Dancing (watch out raygun 👀)

Join us at 6PM at the UPPER ROOM (2 Akuna Street) and BYO dinner. Let the games begin!
