Last night we attended the Ipswich Region Business Excellence Awards, and I’m so incredibly grateful to have been named a finalist for the 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐮𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐈𝐧𝐯𝐨𝐥𝐯𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐀𝐰𝐚𝐫𝐝. 🙏💙

From handing out sunflowers to cancer care patients, to swapping my heels for gumboots on weekends, hosting fun high teas, taking part in fun runs and organising Bogan Bingo fundraisers, She’s My Broker loves being involved in our wonderful community.

I truly believe that as a business owner, it’s important to give back and look after the community that supports us.

None of this would be possible without my friends, family, clients and all the amazing people who support and get involved in my community projects. Having that support behind me means more than I can say.

Being recognised as a finalist for Community Involvement is incredibly special, and I’m so proud of what we’ve been able to contribute together. 💙🙌

The fur babies have a question… 🐾

Rocky sneakily escaped and got out, only to appear at my window a little while later asking to come back in. 😆

Yup, he briefly explored his options… then decided home was still the better deal. 🐾🏡

And honestly, your home loan can be a bit like that too.

What worked for you when you first took out your loan might not be the best fit now. Your income may have changed, your goals may be different, your interest rate may have moved, or life might simply look a little different than it did a few years ago.

On Sunday I had the absolute privilege of joining the Mater Chicks in Pink team at Water's Edge for a thank you breakfast celebrating the supporters behind the International Women's Day Fun Run.

Being in a room full of amazing people who have all come together to support women going through breast cancer was truly special. Every dollar raised through the Fun Run goes towards care, research and support for patients at Mater and hearing the stories shared was a powerful reminder of why it matters.🙌

Supporting Chicks in Pink is something I am incredibly proud to be a part of and I'm already looking forward to lacing up my runners again next year.

If you've ever thought about joining the Fun Run or supporting the cause, do it. You'll be in great company. 💗
