🎉 Weekly chess meet-ups are starting again at UQ Chess Club! 🥳♟️

Every Wednesday we will be meeting for friendly games. This is a great opportunity to make new friends, meet other students, and win some games! 🧠

🪪 Annual Membership Price: $5 for UQ students, $10 for non-students

Please make sure to sign up for/renew your membership if you'd like to attend.

Unfortunately the UQ Chess Club wasn't able to attend Market Day this semester, but our weekly meetings will be starting again soon! Please keep an eye on this page for the location and time.

25 players compete in the Dec 20, 2025 2025 Christmas Team Battle Team Battle. 7+5 casual games are played during 120 minutes. Winner is not yet decided.

UQ Chess Club will be at Market Day this Wednesday! Find us at stall 209 for some friendly chess games and more information about the club.

Our first meeting will be on the same day:

⏰5pm-7pm

Just like last semester, meetings will run on Tuesdays as well as Wednesdays, this time both in the same room and at the same time (5-7).
