TWICE IN 2 MONTHS
Another month, another interest rate increase. This time by .50%, adding to the .25% from May.
We cant predict the future but this could occur even more over the coming months...

Each one of these increases may not amount to much of a difference in loan repayments - you may not even notice it straight away or have to make any changes to your lifestyle. But over time, they could compound to create a larger issue. And if you are already concerned about your budget, this could be more alarming.

If you still havent been in touch to discuss what effect rising interest rates could have on your situation be sure to reach out when you can.
Now would be a great opportunity to review the health of your loans before going into the new financial year.

Hey Everyone hope you are all doing great!

Im sure by now you may have heard about the RBA raising the cash rate yesterday for the first time in over 10 years. What does this mean? Generally, youll find your interest rate will increase and repayments go up.

So what should you be doing? If you have any considerable debt (home mortgage) or thinking about buying, speak to your broker to make sure youre prepared for future rate rises. Consider refinancing to a lower rate to reduce the impact of future rises or potentially fixing.

Now is the perfect time to be checking the health of your home loan.
