β€οΈ How do you say goodbye to someone who has been part of the heart of our branch for 23 years?
Our beautiful Sally has been there from the very beginning, when Community Bank Winchelsea first opened its doors 23 years ago.
To so many of us, Sally has always been our mother hen β the person who looks after everyone, checks in on everyone and somehow always knows when someone needs a kind word, a laugh or a little bit of help.
And then thereβs Sallyβs cooking! Over the years we have happily devoured more of her amazing cakes, slices and homemade goodies than we could ever count. Her cooking skills are legendary around the branch, and there was always something very special about a Sally cake appearing in the staff room. πβ€οΈ
But Sallyβs impact reaches so much further than our branch.
Over 23 years she has helped countless customers, families and local businesses with their banking, often being there through some of the biggest moments in their lives. She has also played such an important part in the support and community investment that has flowed back into Winchelsea, Anglesea, Lorne and our wider district over the years.
The number of people Sally has helped, the relationships she has built and the hearts she has touched are simply impossible to count.
For those of us lucky enough to have worked alongside her, Sally is much more than a colleague. She is family. β€οΈ
Our branch simply wonβt be the same without her.
Sally, thank you for 23 incredible years of friendship, care, dedication, laughter, kindness and, of course, all those amazing cakes!
We are going to miss you more than you know, but we couldnβt be happier for you as you start this next chapter.
Now itβs time for plenty of golf, lots of time with your beloved four-legged babies πΎ and, most importantly, time to enjoy life.
We love you Sal. Thank you for everything. β€οΈ
