Five members of our Raine & Horne Commercial and Business Sales team have just returned from the Raine & Horne National Conference on Hamilton Island - a few days of learning, networking, teamwork and enjoying some time together outside the office.
Across 1.5 days of conference sessions, we heard from ๐พ๐๐ง๐๐จ ๐๐๐๐๐ค๐ก๐ก on the direction of Raine & Horne through to 2030, ๐ผ๐ข๐๐ฃ๐๐ ๐๐ฉ๐๐ซ๐๐ฃ๐จ on customer experience, fighter pilot and world champion ๐๐๐ฉ๐ฉ ๐๐๐ก๐ก on high-performance ex*****on, ๐๐ค๐ฃ๐ฎ ๐๐๐ฃ-๐๐ฎ๐ ๐๐ง๐ค๐ข ๐ฝ๐๐ง๐๐๐ฎ๐ on AI and customer growth, and ๐
๐ค๐ฃ๐๐ฉ๐๐๐ฃ ๐๐ฌ๐๐๐ฉ ๐ค๐ ๐๐๐ผ ๐๐ง๐ค๐ช๐ฅ on the changing real estate landscape and technology.
The conference was also a fantastic opportunity to connect with Raine & Horne colleagues from across Australia, sharing ideas, discussing different markets, building relationships and learning from one another.
๐ผ๐ฃ๐ ๐ฉ๐๐๐ฃ ๐ฉ๐๐๐ง๐ ๐ฌ๐๐จ ๐๐๐ข๐๐ก๐ฉ๐ค๐ฃ ๐๐จ๐ก๐๐ฃ๐โฆ.
We explored the island by buggy, enjoyed some fantastic food, with ๐พ๐ค๐๐ ๐พ๐๐ช a particular favourite, visited Sails, took to the water on a cruise, relaxed by the pool, walked, took in the sights, worked from some pretty spectacular locations, with laptops open and the ocean as our backdrop. The phones certainly didn't stop either, and whilst it might not have looked like it, we were still working!
There was plenty of fun after conference hours too, from an incredible Welcome Party featuring a private performance by ๐๐ฃ๐๐๐ ๐ฎ ๐๐ค๐ช๐ฃ๐ ๐๐ฎ๐จ๐ฉ๐๐ข, to our Shipwrecked-themed farewell dinner and party, complete with live music from ๐๐ง๐๐ฃ๐ฉ ๐ฝ๐๐ก๐ก and his band.
For us, the real value of an experience like this is what happens when we return. Learning, challenging our thinking and understanding where our industry is heading helps us continually improve how we work with our clients; whether we are helping a vendor prepare a property or business for market, connecting buyers with the right opportunity, or navigating the process from beginning to end.

Hamilton Island was the backdrop. The real takeaway comes back to Adelaide with us.
