A productive and insightful week at the 2026 in Barcelona.

Representing SPADREC were CEO and COO , who joined global investors, operators, founders and industry leaders to explore the opportunities shaping the future of padel and sports investment.

As part of the Investor Forum, CEO Ali Al Arif spoke on the panel discussion, “Capital for Courts & Communities”, sharing SPADREC’s perspective on investment in sports infrastructure, community development and the importance of building sustainable ecosystems that support long-term growth.

Throughout the summit, discussions highlighted the continued evolution of padel from a rapidly growing sport into a maturing industry, with increasing focus on technology, operations, community engagement and scalable business models.

For SPADREC, these conversations reinforced our belief that lasting value is created by investing across the entire sports ecosystem, from infrastructure and facilities to education, coaching, events, technology and participation pathways.

As part of the official summit agenda, Ali Al Arif will be joining the speaker lineup at the Innovation Arena on Tuesday, 26 May from 11:00am to 11:50am for the panel discussion:

“Capital for Courts & Communities: Financing the Next Generation of Padel Clubs.”

The session will explore how investment, infrastructure and scalable operating models are shaping the next phase of growth for padel globally.
