Good discussion this morning Capital Club, "Women see AI as not a threat, but that it creates more opportunities." "We (as women) need to stay relevant and keep current." "Technology creates new jobs." Just a sample of future embracing quotes from the panel. Since WAIN invests in tech start ups, I agree with the sentiment! How does one celebrate Emirati Women's Day? Assemble pioneers on a panel and get a fabulous moderator to ensure the most successful of celebrations. Just as many amazing women in the room, as on stage. Not only did they each share their amazing journeys, but they all did it with so much humour! Thank you, Sara Al Mandani (Serial Entrepreneur), Afra Atiq (Artist and Spoken Word Poet), Zahra Lari (First Emirati covered Figure Skater), Marjan Faraidooni (SVP, Legacy Development & Impact-Expo 2020Dubai) and of course Kim Kelaita (Freelance Reporter/Producer CNN).
