ADCB 365 Cashback Credit Card Changes

Effective July 1, 2026, ADCB is significantly devaluing the cashback earning rates on the 365 Cashback Credit Card. While the AED 5,000 monthly minimum spend and AED 1,000 monthly cap remain, several high-yield categories are being downgraded.

Key Cashback Changes
Groceries: Decreased from 5% to 3%.
Dining: Decreased from 6% to 3%.
Utilities (DEWA/SEWA) & Telecom (Etisalat/du): Decreased from 3% to 0.5%.
Fuel, Gas & Salik: Decreased from 3% to 0.5%.
Other Retail Spends: Decreased from 1% to 0.5%.
Digital Subscriptions: A new category is being introduced offering 5% back on select digital and AI application subscriptions.

Interactive Brokers (IBKR) now allows local transfers in AED, this change makes it one of the cheapest and most reliable option for investment.

New Bank Account for AED Funding

Dear Client,

We are pleased to announce that Interactive Brokers LLC has introduced a new bank account with First Abu Dhabi Bank for AED deposits. This enhancement is designed to speed up the transfer process and help reduce intermediary bank fees, as there is no need for a correspondent bank.

Clients who wish to use this method must submit a transfer from their bank using the new deposit instructions.
