SIB Cashback card benefits are changing from 5th July.
You will not earn 10% cashback on
Service/petrol stations,
quick service restaurant (i.e. fast food restaurant),
insurance,
auto/car dealers (including service center, part supplier, etc.),
public transport (e.g., taxis, metro, and buses),
road tolls/salik,
charities/religious organizations.
real estate agents,
Updated benefits are,
Online purchases, saved cards on websites and apps, Samsung Wallet and Apple Pay locally and internationally
(excluding Specific Merchant and EEA transactions)
10% AED 300
International Retail Spends
2% No Cap
Domestic Retail Spends
1% No Cap
Specific Merchant* Transaction
(whether made inside or outside the UAE)
0.5% No Cap
*Specific Merchants are categorized under education, government services, utilities, supermarket , Service/petrol stations, real estate agents, quick service restaurant (i.e. fast food restaurant), insurance, auto/car dealers (including service center, part supplier, etc.), public transport (e.g., taxis, metro, and buses), road tolls/salik, and charities/religious organizations.
EEA Transactions**
Spends made in foreign currency 0.3% No Cap
** EEA transactions are spends in countries which are a part of the European Economic Area. Classification of merchants based in the EEA will be as per prevailing scheme Visa/ Mastercard guidelines
