I'm delighted to share my latest conversation with Dr. Tang from Dr. Tang Acupuncture Clinic.

In this session, we explore three of the most common topics that come up in the IVF Support UAE community:

We discuss where acupuncture may play a supportive role alongside fertility treatment, including what it can realistically help with, when treatment is ideally started before IVF, how it may support uterine blood flow and ovarian function, and why it's important to have realistic expectations.

As always, this conversation is intended to provide education and information. Acupuncture is not a replacement for medical fertility treatment, but for some patients it may be a valuable complementary therapy as part of their overall fertility care.

After our summer break, I’m looking forward to getting together again for some much-needed coffee, conversation and in-person support.

Join me tomorrow (Friday) from 9–11am at Toby’s Estate in Jumeirah. Come for a coffee, a chat, to ask questions, meet others who understand the fertility journey, or simply spend some time in supportive company.

This Coffee Morning is hosted by Orchid Fertility, but you do not need to be an Orchid patient to attend. It’s open to everyone in our fertility community, wherever you are having treatment and wherever you are in your journey.

We spend years thinking about our careers, our homes, our savings and our future. But many women don’t learn about their fertility until they are ready to start a family, and sometimes that information comes later than they expected.

Coffee Morning Reminder ☕️

One of the reasons I host these Coffee Mornings in different locations and at different times is because I know that not everyone is available on a Saturday morning, and not everyone can make a weekday event. By mixing things up, I hope to make these gatherings accessible to as many people in our community as possible.

These mornings are a chance to connect with other women who truly understand this journey, ask questions, share experiences, or simply sit with people who get it.

Some of our Orchid doctors will also try to stop by throughout the morning, so it is a lovely opportunity to ask any questions you may have in an informal and supportive setting.

I’m pleased to announce the next series of upcoming coffee mornings in collaboration with Orchid Fertility Clinic. We’ve planned a mix of weekday and weekend events to make it easier for more people to join us.

Our Saturday sessions are open to both women and men, because partners need support too. The weekday sessions will remain women-only spaces.

These mornings are an opportunity to step away from the stress of appointments and timelines, connect with others who truly understand, and have open and honest conversations about the realities of this journey over a coffee or smoothie.

I’ll be joined by different members of the Orchid team at each event, including our Clinical Psychologist, Anne-Sophie Martial, and our Senior Fertility Nurse, Leanne Davies, along with other members of our care team.

Whether you are just beginning to explore your options, in the middle of treatment, or processing setbacks along the way, you are welcome here.

I’m very pleased to introduce you to Dr. Moses Batwala from Al Moosa IVF — one of Dubai’s newest IVF doctors, bringing a fresh and more individualised approach to fertility care.

I’ll be hosting and moderating a live online support session with Dr. Partha and Anne-Sophie from Orchid Fertility to create a space where we can address both the medical and emotional sides of what you may be navigating.
