Project Lyon takes another step forward.

Phoenix has appointed Drees & Sommer as specialist Asset Management Office (AMO) to support the design, delivery and ex*****on of its first European AI data centre in Lyon, France.

The appointment brings additional technical and project management expertise as development progresses toward the next phase.

In June 2026, Bitzero Holdings, one of Phoenix’s strategic investments, began trading on the Nasdaq Stock Market under the ticker AIBZ.

The listing contributed a $31 million gain to Phoenix’s portfolio, marking a milestone for the Group’s investment strategy and forming part of the company’s gains for the first half of 2026.

Phoenix has held its stake in Bitzero since 2022, reflecting the Group’s approach to backing high-growth companies across the digital infrastructure sector.

This milestone adds to Phoenix’s record of diversified value creation through its investment portfolio, alongside the Group’s core AI infrastructure business.

Self Mining Revenue: $14.7M

Mining efficiency improved to 18.81 J/TH
Self mining gross margin remained strong at 43%

During the quarter, Phoenix energized its newest self mining facility in Texas, secured grid connection for its inaugural 18MW AI ready data centre in Lyon, and saw its strategic investment in Bitzero reach an approximate value of $56 million following Bitzero’s Nasdaq listing.
